Mallrats Hole #1

Wow...that title just sounds dirty. It will when I tweet it, too. "Hey, Kevin Smith, I gotta a hole for you!" Oh well, it is AskewniGolf after all.

So this is my rough outline sketch for the first Mallrats hole on the course. Elevation pictures and (maybe) a perspective drawing will be forth coming, but I didn't want anyone to think I had forgotten them.

Basically, You start off putting toward either escalators which are constantly running (made specifically to catch golf balls) or an elevator. The elevator will rise once a ball in inside. It's not that simple, though. That guy from Fashionable Male is totally in your way.

From there, you navigate the GIGANTIC line to see Stan Lee and get his autograph will going around a 90 degree turn. Perhaps fun things will happen if you hit certain people in line...

The next major thing that occurs is a sudden drop off to the stage area of Truth or Dare. You can either just roll over the edge and putt your way to the hole, or hop a ride on Silent Bob for an (almost) guaranteed hole in one - cause we all know how good Silent Bob is at getting in holes...

There's a rise up onto the stage making it more difficult, and once you fall over the edge, there is no going back to use the Silent Bob cheat, so this is a game of strategy, so sheer putting power (that's what she said!)

So, here it is. Click on link to see full JPEG. Sorry some stuff got cut off. I think you can figure it out while I find a scanner with less fail.

So, ever since I posted an innocent tweet, I've been bombarded with responses and tags. Apparently, the idea to base a miniature golf course designed around Kevin Smith's Askew-niverse is just as awesome to everyone else as it was to my boyfriend and I while we were playing a (much lame-er) version of mini golf today.

In order to stake my claim as the originator of what Kevin Smith has termed "Askiewnigolf," and to post my ideas somewhere without a character limit of 140, I've created a blog.

Why? Because I want to see Askewnigolf created. And I'm going to sketch it. So, this will serve as a record of my creation of Askewnigolf.
